Rolling Thunder Imperial Stout 2021 is a label I designed in 2020. The beer is an Imperial Stout that has been aged in whiskey barrels. This beer is a delicious combination of the heavy bodied stout and bold whiskey flavors.
Process
The brief for Rolling Thunder was to create an upscale fancy design and incorporate gold foil and a textured paper for the label. I started out with some simple sketches focusing heavily on the typography composition before transferring to digital variations. Overall I was happy with the final product and think the foil and French curves really helped sell this as an upscale beer.
